Taxable Information:

One of the best parts about giving back to an organization like The Community Foundation of Jackson County is the tax benefits. Generally, when someone leaves their estate and their wealth behind when they pass on, up to 85% of it can go to the IRS through estate and income taxes. However, all donations to charity are fully tax deductible for donors and protected to the fullest extent of the law.
